Julie Cunningham

As the founder and owner of Cunningham College Consulting, LLC, I help students navigate the college application process with support that minimizes their anxiety.  My goal is to assist them in identifying colleges that are most suitable  based on individual preferences regarding learning style, research opportunities, housing options, and future aspirations. I want to help them investigate an array of schools where they can thrive in all aspects of their lives.

I also advise students with respect to testing options, high school course selections, getting the most from college visits, and whom to ask for letters of recommendation. Brainstorming essay topics and essay critique are part of my services as well, and I particularly enjoy working with students as they round their essays into shape. Admission essays allow students to convey who they are beyond the objective data that populate their applications. A well-written essay can help a student stand apart from applicants with equivalent grades and test scores.

As acceptance letters are received and financial aid offers extended, I provide direction in helping students and families weigh various offers and ultimately decide where to enroll. This is an exciting time for everyone, and I always feel privileged to have been part of the journey.
